The USEF announces the U.S. eventing team for the Pan American Games in Santiago in 2023
Athletes and horses have been selected to represent the United States at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile by the United States Equestrian Federation. During the eventing portion of equestrian competition, four combinations will compete as a team with one traveling reserve at the Escuela de Equitación Regimiento Granaderos in Quillota, Chile. A direct reserve in addition to five alternate combinations will represent the team.
In alphabetical order, the following athletes and horses have been named to the U.S. Eventing Team for the Pan American Games:
QC Diamantaire, owned by Carol Stephens, is a 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding owned by Sydney Elliott (Benton, Louisiana)
Presented by Liz Halliday (Ocala, Florida) and Miks Master C, an 11-year-old Swedish Warmblood gelding owned by Debby Palmer.
The Nutcracker Syndicate’s Cooley Nutcracker, a 9-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding
Mollie Hoff, Sherrie Martin, Caroline Pamukcu, and HSH Blake, an 8-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding owned by Caroline Pamukcu (Miami Beach, Florida)
The owner of Claus 63, an 11-year-old Holsteiner gelding, Sharon White (Summit Point, West Virginia)
As the traveling reserve, we have named the following combination:
Kynan, an 8-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Kynan Syndicate LLC, and Tamie Smith (Murrieta, Calif.)
