Upcoming Ninteenth edition of the 2023 FIBA Basketball world cup to be scheduled to play between the August 25 to September 10 in Various Venues of Indonesia, Japan, Philippines as they are hosting the tournament. This 2023 Basketball world cup is organized by the FIBA. This is the first time when 2023 FIBA World cup to be played in Multiple Countries. Qualification for the event will take place between November 2021 and February 2023, with 80 nations set to compete for a place at FIBA’s flagship competition. It will include six windows over a 15-month period across the four regions of Africa, Americas, Asia/Oceania and Europe.
Total 32 Teams from 4 Confederations are participating in the Basketball World cup 2023. Spain is the defending champions of the competition as the winners of the 2019 FIBA tournament. The opening qualification Match is set to run from November 22 to 30 next year.

Participating Teams
Total 32 teams are to have participated in the competition which is divided into Eight groups so on each pool 4 teams to be included. All the teams have to play with the other three teams of their group in the group stage matches and top teams will be going through to the second round.
