FIBA Asia cup originally intended to be 2021 edition as tournament was initially scheduled to take place between 3 and 15 August 2021 but later its posponed due to 17 to 29 August 2021 to avoid schedule conflict with olympics games which was posponed by year due to covid-19 reason.
