Tim Southee included in KKR for Remaining IPL 2021 Games

We seen that after few games at IPL, the Tournament was stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic but Now action continues in the September of the Remaining games. For that Kolkata Knight Riders – KKR signed Tim Southee for the remaining 31 games of the IPL. Southee comes in the KKR in place of Pat Commins Who has pulled out from the IPL second leg due to personal reasons.

“Tim has been a strong player and has been the spearhead of the New Zealand team. In the UAE conditions, we hope he will be very effective,” a KKR official said. The exact amount of signing has not been known but Cummins was acquired by the Kolkata franchise for 15.5 crore in the 2019 IPL auction.

Recently Tim Southee who played from the Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore side too. In Total of IPL 40 Matches, he took 28 wickets with an economy rate of 8.47

So far looking to Points Table, KKR side who is standing on the Seventh place with two victories in seven games they played. So team hoping arrival of Southee surely bring up their side. “He will be a back up to Lockie Ferguson. With his new ball skills, he should be very effective in the UAE conditions,” the KKR official said.
