Baseball/softball teams to watch at the 2023 Pan American Games
The top three baseball teams from 2019 – Puerto Rico, Canada, and Nicaragua – all missed out on qualifying for the 2023 edition. Despite this, the field is still likely to be dominated by countries that play major baseball, such as Mexico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, or Cuba, rather than Chile, the host country.

In softball, there are many top players in action. The USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico medalists return with their best rosters.
