Jonathan Trott named as Head coach of Afghanistan Men’s team

England Batter of Jonathan Trott has been pick as a Head coach for the Men’s Afghanistan Cricket team. He take the charges in August when team touring to ireland.

He play cricket from England Men’s Team. He retire from the cricket way back in 2018.

“I’m honoured and excited to have the opportunity to take one of international cricket’s most exciting teams through what is a huge year for their development as a team,” Trott was quoted as saying by the Afghanistan Cricket Board.

“I can’t wait to get to work with a group of players who are clearly capable of generating results in a style that will make the people of Afghanistan proud.”

Afghanistan tour to Ireland begin from the 9th August in Belfast as in this tour both team play five t20 games.
