CONMEBOL Teams to play 2022 World cup Qualifying Games in September

South American Football Council – CONMEBOL recently announced that Qualifying Matches of the Fifa world cup 2022 which to be not played recently due to corona virus pandemic will be start in the September 2020. Due to Corona Virus pandemic around the world majority of the sporting events has been postponed.

CONMEBOL also Mentions that Copa America will be played next year in 2021 in the period of June and July.

“As for the FIFA Qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, it is a FIFA competition and therefore it is up to the highest body in world football to establish the date of celebration of this qualifying competition. So far, the start date set by this body for its celebration is from September 4 to 8, 2020 in the previously established format,” CONMEBOL said in a release.

2022 Fifa world cup to be host by the Qatar and events to be played from 21 November – 18 December period.
