While there are many great movies made in India, not all of them make it to the top of the list. Here are IMDb’s top 10 movies in India for 2022:

RRR (Rise Roar Revolt)

1. RRR (Rise Roar Revolt) is a highly anticipated Indian film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film stars Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris and Ray Stevenson. It is based on the story of two freedom fighters from different regions of India who fight for their respective causes during the British rule in India.

The film has been in development since 2016 and was slated to release in 2019. However, the release date was pushed back to 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film was finally released on October 13th, 2020 in theatres across India and received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike.
